Chapter 5:

p. 95, the argument how to go from Eq. (6.72) to (6.73) is too
"short", since we cannot lower the index of \(\xi^\alpha\) as
\(\partial_\mu\xi^\alpha\) is not a tensor. Instead, eleminate the
metric tensor in the first two terms by using
\( \xi_\mu=g_{\mu\alpha}\xi^\alpha \). Next lower the index of the
third \(\xi^\alpha\) and recall the definition of the Christoffel
symbols.

p. 95, in Eq. (6.75): the derivative \(d/d\tau\) should be
\(D/d\tau\)
Chapter 10:
- p. 176, Example 10.2: the term \(+\partial_\theta\cot\theta\)
should have a negative sign.
